Nurturing Nature: Tree Plantation Program by Students’ Union, Faculty of Applied Science, Trincomalee Campus

A green revolution unfolded on the 9th of October 2023, as the Environment Sub-Committee of the Students’ Union at the Faculty of Applied Science, Trincomalee Campus, EUSL, spearheaded a Tree Plantation Program. This impactful campaign was a testament to our collective commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability.

Under the stewardship of the students from the 2021/22 batch, the campus witnessed a vibrant display of unity and dedication as saplings found their new homes in the soil. The Tree Plantation Program was not just about planting trees; it was a statement of our responsibility towards the planet and the shared belief that every tree contributes to a healthier, greener future.
